Canadian Visa Requirements
The following are the basic requirements for a Canadian visitor visa:
- have a valid passport
- be in good health
- have no criminal or immigration-related convictions
- Prove you’ll be returning to your home country by providing proof, such as a job or family.
- prove that you will leave Canada at the end of your visit
- have enough money for your stay
How Long Can a Visitor Stay In Canada
Visitors to Canada are allowed a six-month stay from the day they entered. If an officer authorizes less than 6 months, then it will state in your passport when you’re required to leave the country. If you need to stay longer than the time your visa allows, apply for an extension at least 30 days before your authorized stay is set to an end.
